Arely

This shoot was for the 2024 Twisted Fate Calendar.

Arely was chosen as the cover model for a few reasons. The main one is for her involvement and knowledge of cars. Although she is more into the JDM and tuner scene, her love for cars doesn’t discriminate. She also took classes on how to wrap cars, which she does on the side. Her main job is working for her husband’s car dealership, Symbolic Auto Sales. So it’s safe to say that she is always around cars. As a model, she is very versatile as her outfits range from classy to sexy. Her modeling experience shows through the way she poses and complements whatever car or motorcycle you put her next to. Being a cheerleader for the Toros of Tijuana has also helped her evolve in her modeling career.

The car is Antonio’s “Tone” 58’ Impala. Tone has been one of my biggest supporters. He has been part of other shoots and always shows up. Whether it’s lending me the car for a day or moving his plans around, he makes sure his car is at the shoot. Besides his reliability, it’s obvious that his car is stunning. It is not common to see a 58’ Impala in such great shape, let alone with purple patterns. I knew it was going to capture everyone’s attention, no matter what kind of car they’re into.

The location is at the rooftop of a parking garage. I chose this location to capturer the iconic Petco Park. I wanted something to represent San Diego and what’s better than the home of the San Diego Padres. This location also had a view of the San Diego skyline which was a bonus. The only downside was that the sun was too harsh. Our schedule only allowed us to shoot a bit afternoon, but I made it work.
